Tractorman810
weird machine?? does the cab lift automaticly when the arm goes up then?? or driver operated it if required as for convo, no way, busy at the min mate, scratch build would be better to
MJB1
it's up to the driver where he puts the cab mate but it's easier to see how the loadings going from that height , also means he can see any brace bars in the trailer when tipping the bucket without hitting them
Tractorman810
makes sence, i know the ones down the docks(360s mind) have similar, but never seen it on a smaller handler like that, very good idea mind for trucks like yours with the high sides
jdc
I bet that is strange to drive as your view changes depending where the cab is. Bet they still clout the bars though.
ploughmaster
Interesting looking tool Quick Google found the Sennebogen website: http://sennebogen.com/hp7856/SENNEBOGEN-NEWS-Green-Line-Recycling-and-Material-handling.htm There is a pdf brochure for that machine - look under 'downloads/green line' in the left side menu
Deere-est
Certainly odd at first glance but then in this environment I am sure it is fairly beneficial. Seen plenty of scrap handling depots with the wheeled excavators with this kind of cab function. This is a first though, I wonder how many of these there are in the UK. Havn't been down to Poole harbour for ages, Marcus. Used to drop Charcon paving on the wharf there for shipping to the Channel Islands. Used to love that little job from Leighton Buzzard down to Poole....
