Lady Ferguson
I was asked to convert a couple of my tractor drivers for a customer, who wanted 1940s style figures for two horse-drawn vehicles (I was a bit apprehensive, as I'm no sculptor ). The Hyster operator is adapted from my farm labourer/mechanic and I think it shows how easily white metal figures can be adapted. Frazer just bent his arms up and brought his legs in and he fits perfectly - but he could be just as easily be altered to work on a tractor etc [img width=368 height=251]http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p67/Supermassiveblackhole2/Metal%20figs/Partridge2.jpg [img width=367 height=280]http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p67/Supermassiveblackhole2/Metal%20figs/Hyster-40-.jpg [img width=361 height=251]http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p67/Supermassiveblackhole2/Metal%20figs/Hyster-40.jpg [img width=358 height=268]http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p67/Supermassiveblackhole2/Metal%20figs/Hyster-40-1.jpg

Deere-est
I think 'James Bond' looks well dapper! How much movement/punishment do you think these chaps would take?
Tractorman810
well smart mandy, had a play round with the arms on the 2 i bought at spalding the other day, bent one up and in, not that easy to do even in white metal, so great job
Lady Ferguson
Using a hair dryer to warm the metal first makes it much easier. You'd need to follow the natural bend as much as possible - ie you couldn't just push them in backwards from the join. If you're gentle, you can get quite a lot of bend in them We're going to do some experiments ourselves over the next few days and I'll post up the results
