cyrilhanna
The first memories I have of the MF 1155 is when a local contractor came to cut our silage. I think I was about 7 or 8. They had a MF fleet. MF 590 mowing, MF 1135 on the cutter and a MF 1155 and a MF 595 drawing in. Our MF 575 was buckraking.

B O R
the farmer that 1200 mentions is the man i done work for as a lad..i was explaining to lord ferguson that he(Edgars) ran a 1155,595,590 and 135...his brother ran a 1135,595s and 590s...we had another neighbour who ran a 1155(replaced by a fiat160-90) as well, and another neighbour (mcglue bros)who ran a 1135,1200,1080,595,590,575,135s...and another(murphys) who ran a 590,575,575,550,135(now the 1 i own),and 65.....then 2 nearby farmers(wilsons) who ran 2720,595,590s,and then the Newells who had a fleet of 10 mfs at a time and the big grunt supplied by a case 2670 traction king.... ALL the above were potato men,all from mourne and within a 10 mile radies of 1 another and all these fleets running when i was around 10-15years old.......it really was MASSEY country
