deere6920s Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Because i was asked for some more pictures from this conversion... And now you can see it with coloured tools. I hope you like it!
Paul Palmer Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 thanks for that, great pictures,i want to get it right,as the model is £60.00,thanks again
The Tractor Twitcher Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 That looks absolutely fantastic and very impressive yoked to the big Deere.
Paul Palmer Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 That looks absolutely fantastic and very impressive yoked to the big Deere. im going to copy deere6290s work there david,im the one who asked for the pictures,i used to use an 8 metre horsch with a case magnum 285 or a claas 936 atles, this is the nearest im going to get,we didnt have the packer wheels on the back though, just an adjustable rake, its a great conversion isnt it,the one i used was a terrano, not the tiger, but as i said ,close enough

Just done a little internet search of the Terrano, really looking forward to seeing your example now, looks like a very impressive piece of kit.

Just done a little internet search of the Terrano, really looking forward to seeing your example now, looks like a very impressive piece of kit. it will be exactly the same as deere 6290s's work david, looks like the transport position needs the packers, shame as i said the one i used didnt have the packers,i seem to remember a lot of wheels though, and a ***** if you had a puncture, they were very akward to get off, very close to the frame david
Paul Palmer Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 heres a couple of pictures of the 8 metre version, exactly what i used to use
The Tractor Twitcher Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I see what you mean regards those tyres being awkward to remove close to the frame Paul, certainly a task I wouldn't envy trying to accomplish. I've yet to find much real Horsch equipment working on the bigger arable farms in the area I live. Seems to be mostly Simba and Vaderstad kit along with the local firm Sumo being used.
Paul Palmer Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 to be honest david, the one i used was the only one i ever saw working,as you say,lot of simbas and vaderstads around though
Deere-est Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Fantastic. Just the right tool for a big tracked machine I can't even seen where you have done the work, it's superb!
whincebros Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Can you simply unscrew the seeder part from the main body, or is there a bit more to it?
whincebros Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Just a thought, anyone got any idea how easy it would be to convert a uh 4 metre pronto to a 6 m one? The lack of cultivator on the 4 may complicate things?
Light Land Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 be a sod of a job imo as I were looking at doing that conversion last night, would seem easier to make a model shorter not longer.
