Farmermilkin82.050
Just wondering after reading an artical in classic tractor, But are kubota tractors good machines? The new series looks more impressive than the older ones, but has anyone ever drove one? Whats it like? James.

Deere-est
Unsure of model numbers but a local dairy farm traded in a very problematic John Deere 6400 with loader and a lovely 2850 for two Kubota's. One with loader and one without. He likes them a lot as far as I know and when I have been there on dung spreading I have used the loader one to load a spreader. It isn't the tractor the 6400 was as it is a lot lighter and not suited to the field work as well as the predecessor was. I'll be honest and I say I was surprised by the Kubota. Fast hydraulics, good shuttle response. . . light but nice.
