jack_c
This is something that has been layin in the corner of may bench for a long time now, Happy with how it turned out but the colour has ruined it... Rover apple jack green doesn't come close to being the correct colour (as advised on another forum) Anyway here it is, Also added worklights to the spout of the SP and changed the beacons to something that looked more realistic

Jdeere6910
Great conversion Jack, its a shame about the paint though Just needs badging as a 940 now like our local contractors have
jack_c
Thanks! Yeah it is disappointing, don't think its worth my while trying to paint over it though, Would only end up with a paint reaction and ruin the whole thing
Paul Palmer
nice work jack, only my opinion but if you can get the original colour then use it,i know you cant get a lot of old original colours but claas green is readily available, have a chat with your nearest part man, they will give you a discount if you ask
ronan7051
That looks real good Paul, I think you should go for the Claas colour, give it a shot, It would really just finish it. But very nively done anyway.
jack_c
Thanks for the replies, Yes I very much agree after this incident, I'll not be getting any substitute colours any longer, genuine or nothing I will repaint it once I get a chance to call with the Claas dealer to get the correct colour, Very annoying after all efforts and to have this occur,
