S. Peters
Tris, i think i spent an 45 hours on the complete greentec, 110 hours on the whole Vredo and a 6 hours on the container. it is now finished and it looks great i think. I just let the foto's speak for them....
Deere-est
Is the crane made by you too, Sjonnie? Or is it one you have bought and modified?
S. Peters
The crane is a fully modified Ertl, Tris!!
jdc
The finished model is superb. I've only ever seen these working in videos, but it certainly looks the part and will be well admired at Zwolle.
Deere-est
Is it a 1/50th scale crane, then? Like John, I have only seen videos of this type of kit but it looks to me like you have done your research and got this model down to a very fine finish. Have you seen real ones like this working?
S. Peters
The crane is a 1:50 scale ertl and is perfect to build a Palfinger C50F! Well Tris i can tell you that i build this model together with the factory. The chipper is build with the original messurements and is finished like the real one. I was on scene when they gave a demo in Holland. i shall try to place a film here. On the film he is on a Valtra and is feeded with a other crane. A month later i was at a demo where it hangs on the Vredo from Jan Hes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EkqtBw8hAI&feature=youtu.be Edited October 21, 2012 by S.
