Like you, I've wanted a 3cx since the mid 80's!!. I have bsb quick hitches on mine and a 4 in 1 bucket' no forks, from a £3 jcb. Looks like I need to do some browsing and look at ci models again. Like Tris, wasn't aware bsb did any front attachments.......few years time I may get it done!!

Looking good bud, I've also got both versions of the 3cx both with quick hitches and a set of buckets each, as of this morning the older version has became a 4cx just needs a few tweaks here and there. Also need to get my finger out and get on to ci models for 2 4in1 front buckets

Very difficult getting the front wheels off, ended up snapping the black plastic strip on the axel trying to get them off, at the moment the wheels don't steer atall, will have to cut part of the chassis out to get them steering, don't know I'll deal with the rear wheel steering bit that won't be for a while.

They are seriously cool!!! Ive got one which I fitted the four back buckets to, I want to get another one, the new model, and get two 4 in 1 buckets for them and some of the other attachements also. The piping looks excellent, can I ask what you used for it? as I want to do it also, and also can I ask why it is different on each one where the back arm connects to the main body? Really excellent models bud, I'll be watchin to see how the mirrors turn out as I cant understand why britains didnt put any on them.

Hi ronan thanks I use 1/16 copper tube to do it and painted it silver but I'm sure you can get Ali pipe that size, as for the different piping being different I looked on line and one of me mates drives one n told me they are different on newer models. I hand thought of mirrors to be honest but now you've got me thinking!:)

After making my 4cx i got out my old 3cx's and began tidying them up by adding mirrors, rails and lights. I have made my own legs too for the rear and an extra dig for the rear arm! Always wanted to have the extra dig as the joal models have it so finally after racking my brains on how I was to do it have achieved it and its turned out better than I expected. Even when it's fully extended its still rigid which I was the part I couldn't get my headround! I want to now do this to all my 3cx,3c and 4cx. Here it is just need some paint...

Got it painted up today, well it was until you slide it in and out so this is the best it will get just gets rubbed off . I have made arm which is in the pics and another two sets of legs. Working my way through 3cx's so as they all have extending legs and rear arm!!:)
