Hi there

I get my laser printer waterslide (clear and white) from eBay. I use unbranded papers, but have not had a problem in over 5 years so they seem stable from a colour and 'staying stuck' perspective.

I find it easyer to buy em off Mandy as there not to bad price wise.

I looked onthe Hollys Love Toys site before posting to try to add a link, but searching decal on HLT does not bring up any waterslide paper.... :(

Sean - do you have a laser or inkjet printer? Are you using the right setting in the printer setup - usually setting the paper type to something like 'photographic paper' to throw lots of toner onto the decal paper helps.

inkjet malc, and we have tried all the settings , inc top notch photo ,all seem to be see through???? may be the paper, but it got to the point I gave up, doing the decals is easy, get the wife to do that, she's got the patience to sit and do all the touching up etc, infact she did one from new for me for some lee trailers I did for someone,

John,

I found the base model on e-bay about three years ago, there is a thread on here about it... Hang on...

There ya go! Wish I had bought all the models they had, but only got two and then the seller didn't get any more in. There are some more photos on my web site

Never seen the 'Speed Safely 480' harvester on eBay since, but they are available in Poland and the Czech Republic ;)

Hope this helps!

Thanks for all your replies, by the sound of it I may get lucky and find it works on my printer or I may not. Sean, what software do you use, if you don't mind me asking.

I use a program called 'Inkscape' which is free. It is a steep learning curve, but you can resize easily; say you need the decal to be 5mm x 11mm just enter that and the final printout is exactly that.

Like Malc I buy paper on Ebay and have never had a problem. I think a good varnish is the secret.
