dave the farmer Posted August 11, 2017 Author Share Posted August 11, 2017 The guys have been busy.we got the rape done on the 3rd of August.and started Spring barley the nxt day.we have got into the wheat now.with 2400 acres to do.we cutting at 19.5 % .and drying 24 hrs a day got 300 acres cut in two very long days so far,most is still standing.3rd cut silage got going this wk a stop start job.some new muckers have joined the team. 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dave the farmer Posted August 20, 2017 Author Share Posted August 20, 2017 Well it's been a stop start job again with the wheat harvest and the 3rd cut silage which is done now,we have about 500 acres of wheat to cut got a 100 acres today till it rained again ,another farm done.still got some 300 acres to bale.got drillin osr mid wk so far 500 acres drilled ,rolled and pre em.dairy tasks still going on .diesel up the combine. 9 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
