SPN Posted September 20, 2016 Share Posted September 20, 2016 We were working in North County Dublin recently and I got these photos of John Thorne & Sons harvesting potatoes beside one of our locations. The Grimme self-propelled (which I neglected to photograph, but can be seen in the distance) was out of action, so the T7.200 and Grimme Variant were brought into play. Came across three Lexions (one a TT) supported by a fleet of John Qs with a Richard Western Chaser Bin and three Mixie Twomey aluminium body trailers. Wasn't able to get close enough to take pics. Maybe tomorrow. Then I tracked down Simon Donoghue who was lifting salad potatoes with his new Grimme Variotron 220 and his Fendt 820BB and MF7718 drawing away.
