Britains Heritage 90

Recommended Posts

Thought I would post some pictures of my converted Britains heritage defender 90 while trying out a new camera...rained all day but there was a lovely pink sky as a backdrop

modifications: rear work light, boost alloys, plates, silver pipe, winch and spare wheel removed...

Great photos, love the boost alloys they look far better than the Sankey steels.

Thanks Martin, Ye they look a bit better than the old ones, your defiantly right, everything looks better in natural light :)

just a pity about the old split tailgate on these Defender models,  that was dropped in real life in the early 80's as the "Ninety" replaced the series 3's  a few were used up in production but then completey replaced by the one piece station wagon door which had been available on hard tops though the 2a and 3 ranges, Nice detail changes you've made though and the wheels really make a difference :)
