Best glue for modeling

Just wanted some advice.  Doing an aoshima  fuso truck model and wanted to know if there was a glue that didn't take the paint off when applied.  For example gluing mirrors etc. To the already painted cab?

The plastic cement (I use Revell)  works by melting the two pieces of plastic and fusing them as one.

The best way I can think of would be to use a cocktail stick to put a very fine amount on the mirror.

Where I have the problem is with headlights. I put silver paint behind the lens, but have had some real disasters trying to glue the lens on without the paint going to muck.

i use revell as well, cost a little more than the tube stuff, but this ones great,the fine metal tube it uses allows you to position in holes ect perfectly with minimal waste

As said above, I too use Revell glue for plastic kits, very easy to use and control the amount.

For clear parts (or such as painted headlights), I use Deluxe materials glue n' glaze.... doesn't melt of fog anything. As far as I know it's only a white pva glue.
