sipher172
As my collection has been expanding I thought it was about time I started a "Collection" topic for myself. For the conversions and scratch builds I have made, I will add a few more photos along with a description of the construction process as well. I will start with my John Deere collection. The first model is the Ertl John Deere 9570RX. For this model I have resprayed all the plastic areas with John Deere Green and Yellow. I have added hand rails made from Plasticard and also added wing mirrors. The rear linkage is from an Ertl John Deere 8530 precision classic. I have also added a Sumo front weight from Dave Twose. The second model is based on a Siku John Deere 8R. I have used the front axle and wheels from a Marge Styer. The rear 3 point linkage is from a Norscot Challenger. The front linkage is front Artisan 32.
sipher172
Next up is my Siku John Deere R4040i crop sprayer. For this model I have sprayer all the plastic in John Deere Green. I have also switched the wheels to a set of rear wheels from an Ertl John Deere 8400 precision classic. The next model is a Wiking John Deere 6R, the only change to this has been to switch the wheels to a set of front and rears from an Ertl John Deere 8400 precision classic. sipher172
For the Wiking 6930 all I have done is spray the wheels John Deere Yellow. For the John Deere 7R I have simply added a Dave Twose Sumo front weight and switched the rear wheel weights.
sipher172
For the Wiking John Deere 6R, I have added a set of Artisan32 row crop wheels sprayed in John Deere Yellow. The Ertl John Deere 8RT "US Version" has been modified to a Row Trac configuration. These are the standard tracks simply split in two, the the rear drive and idle wheels have also been chopped down. The rear linkage is from a Norscot Challenger and the front linkage is from a Wiking Fendt 936. The extended frame support was made from H-section Plasticard. sipher172
First up is my Larrington Ejector Chaser Trailer. The model chassis is from a Wiking Fliegl ASW 391. I also used the push off mechanism from this trailer as well. Then the Larrington body was made from Plasticard. The 2nd model is my Larrington Tri-Axel Majestic. This trailers chassis was from a Replicagri Maupu trailer. I then built the trailer body from plasticard once again.
sipher172
Next up I have my Larrington Gulwing trailer, holding 8 Replicagri potato boxes. The trailer is made from the base model of a UH Joskin Wago TR10000T20. The ram section and the side section from the trailer all came from the Joskin aswell. The other sections were made from Plasticard. I used the front wheel section from the Joskin to make a Larrington Dolly. The second trailer is a Larrington Hydraulic Beavertail. The trailer is based on the Britains Kane Lowloader. The trailer was simply painted orange and then the head of the trailer and rear ramp section were built out of Plasticard to convert it to a Larrington.
