L33 DA17ON Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Hello everyone my brother is thinking of selling the big ford 8210. Seires lll Do any of you guys know what shes worth? She has genuine hours and had new paint work on the bonnet and nose cone. This is not a for sale topic I'm just asking to see as we dont realy have a idea. My brother it wanting a newer tractor that will be 150 200hp and a little faster on the road. Shes only ever pulled the jd baler it doesn't even get unhiched for it.
Valley Axe Man Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 @mb86 you'll be the man to price this and give Lee a rough idea?
mb86 Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 It’s sad to see the old blue is moving on Lee. She looks in decent order, I assume oil and water are in their correct places? Is the 3pl not working still and what is the cab like under the window rubbers? Lots of things that make a difference like how she starts and runs and oil leaks etc.. I think if there is minimal rust and your linkage is still broken you should be asking somewhere in the £10 - £11k mark and be prepared to take a little less if you want a quicker sale. Maybe chance it to £12... Did I see you on Facebook? If you advertise it on “ the big ford 6 cylinder tractor register” you will find a buyer, these tractors are getting popular now and getting harder to find in good order.

Thanks yeah I've jound Facebook. Had to for my sons fundraising page. I'll check out the page. Linkage is fixed it was a electrical sensor stopping the arms coming back up. Water oil all good. I was looking round the old girl lastnight while up at the farm. I always thought the cab was a bit rotten but it's not the ford, its the old same 80 that has the rot on the box section. I'll try remember to got some pics of under them rubbers. Shes not looking her best as she was out with the baler last week. And it gets very dusty.
