Sidmouth Junction Ploughing Match

Had an chance to call in for a couple of hours this morning on this local event. A lot of 135's, grey fergies, Internationals etc that you see at such events but no Dexta's which I find odd.

There were a few unusual tractors working -

Nice old Fordson N with a trailled plough

A very nice Zetor 5545 4wd

A Fendt Farmer 2

A very neat Iseki 530

Also parked up was a brand new 71 Plate Valtra N175 which looked fantastic in black

Also present was Devon & Cornwall Constabulary's Claas Atos 350 which has been loaned by the local dealer Hambley's.

It's used by the Force to raised awareness of rural crime and security of farm equipment. Looks good all dressed up in dayglo with flashing lights!

Definately a lovely tractor only had the cab on a couple of years. Really nice chap that owns it uses it for several matches locally

Before the cab was fitted, not seen it in a couple of years due to no ploughing matches because of covid
