Two of the big local farming company's are now running 9metre Pottinger drills on the back of JD 8RX's, a really smart looking pairing😎

Garret seedings black Deutz 7250 doing well, one of Bill Legge's new Fendt 722's carting spuds and Field's new 72 plate 8RX 370 cultivating behind spuds in a swamp!!

And Waldersley Farms brand new JD 6R 185 with flash toolbox is everywhere carting spuds or taking wheat to the merchants😍

The 2022 Potato harvest ended off in unexpected style, namely two of the Superb Ploeger AR-4BX working in the same field!!  I knew where one of these 4 bed harvester's lives but had no idea a relatively local potato grower had bought a pair of them this year.  Helping out with the carting were a pair of black Massey 7719S models owned by Pretoria energy the notorious maize harvesting gang. No doubt they managed to turn at least one trailer of spuds over in the manner we have become accustomed too in these parts🙄

The tractor replaced a Challenger 845E, so this machine is 200+hp more on mostly the same implements.  What I heard was that the 1167 was Thurlow Nunn's demonstrator with a few hundred hours on it, and it was cheaper too buy than ordering a brand new 1152 which is the entry level big Fendt.

Interesting Phil
