Claas Jaguar - Wiking or Marge?

Recommended Posts

I’m thinking of getting a Jaguar forager to go with the Krone and Fendt I’ve got, and can’t decide between the Wiking 860 or the Marge 990.  I know the Marge will be excellent and have far more metal content but I would want a grass pick up and I’m not sure how easy these are to get hold of, whilst the Wiking would have one included.

any advice?

I had the same dilemma Joe. In the end I decided to forget the Claas and go for a Marge New Holland.

Based on this model and comparing it with my Wiking combines I would say Marge everytime. Far better models.

Thank you for that Peter,

i think the quality of the Wiking models has gone down over recent years but I was very impressed with the Katana.

Still need to chew it over a bit longer, the New Holland is nice too, but it’s mostly all Claas around here so would like a miniature version.
