NIGEL FORD Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Yes shell fenders (your not a yank are you? and yes I hope to get the pics up here first. Just finished the high-clearance bits at 1.30am this morning.Also had to do some major alterations to the front end parts as the brass etchers were unable to do the grilles 0.028" as instructed,but only 0.008" (which they didn't tell me about-only found out when delivered )so i've had to thicken up the master parts & will need to make a new mould of them. Big problem now is .......the wifes taking me off to Malta for a week, & can't risk taking any of the work with me in case airlines lose it. Pics won't be ready til a few days before Spalding as I haven't started painting yet of course with the revised bits being needed. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know what you mean Nigel, I wasn't best pleased that my models that had been away with me were going in the case for the journey home instead of handbaggage which is usual.
