plastrut help

i am after some  advice  i want  to order  some  plastrut  to try and start  some converting/ scratch building any ideas with what to order to try out.... before placing  a large order  ....... with ema  web site minum spend is  ?12  as the  catologue is  ?6  so i would be grateful  for  any help

is there a good local model shop near you? if so try there firsat, it will allow you to browse through whats avaiable and gauge if its suitable for what you want, theres a huge ammount of different sizes and profiles out there so it would be hard to tell you what you would want with out knowing what you are looking to do with it to be honest,

As Sean said, try and visit a shop first to see the sizes. Then either order bulk through EMA or use the sister shop. http://www.hobby.uk.com, no minimum order as EMA tell me to use it if i'm under ?12

As above, find a model shop first so you can see them for size comparison, once you have an idea move on to on-line suppliers like 4dmodelshop and EMA
