Lord Ferguson
70 ton/ha if every thing falls into place. What's that per Acre Ol - I'm old
Light Land
Devide by 2.45 and you have acres. A crop like that is often taken only after a few years of cropping.Carrots after pasture are often realy cr@p because the clover in the pasture is a haven for nemetodes to live in,but spuds seem to love being the frist crop when the paddock comes out of grass. There is on farmer next to me that grows.... Wheat-carrots-carrots-wheat-peas or OSR Place I work at often grows...... pasture-potatoes-carrots-wheat or maize-pasture Because the farm is moving into more pasture for silaging and grazing also the grass helps the ground recover from back to back root crops beter. Lord Ferguson
So is it... 70 divided by 2.45 = 28.57 (28.5) Tonnes to the acre so 28.5 * 230 acres = 6555 tonnes total crop Is this correct someone please
