1972farming
Nice collection. Is the yellow super major original? The 2 Fordsons are original but the 5000 supermajor is a repaint I did about 3 years ago.

Or put another way no thicker than the metal hub.
1972farming
I know the tyres you mean now,but sadly I don't have one of the early vehicles with that type.

1972farming
I would like to think that they are worth a bit ,mind you I have paid a bit for them. I would hate to sit down and work out how much they have cost. I could have bought a nice real tractor for the same money !
super6
1972 when you refurbished the 6x did you take the plastic inserts off? how
1972farming
Yes ,I removed the strips. If you are careful and very lucky you can get them out with a very fine knife edge like a scalpel. They are usualy brittle though so take care.On mine ,the steering wheels were broken off so I split the castings which meant that I could push the strips out from the inside.Hope that makes sense, its one of those things which is easier to do than to explain. blueford
Hello Steve, a never seen Fordson collection. Congratulations. My heart will laugh. I have one question about a model from my collection, to a special Fordson Collector like you. In my collection I have a restored Fordson and an old rear dump. Is it possible that the Wheel centres at the rear dump are original? I saw the old Fordson style centres ever at the yellow industrials, but the blue dumper with the Ford style centres. Could you help? Blueford
1972farming
Hello blueford,as far as I know the blue dump trailer only came with white plastic 5000 wheels .I would think that your wheels are off a Fordson or even off a yellow trailer. Any ideas any one else ? \
