Jez
Why did you go for a Welger and not a JD?
allis8550
Why did you go for a Welger and not a JD? Probably because a JD is green and the Welgers not.
texas
Why did you go for a Welger and not a JD? I think because they won't want any problems with the baler ;D texas

batcher
Definitely the best all round balers at the moment - nice one. With the varied work he does a good all rounder is needed. This is the 3rd season he has run 2 welgers, Before he ran class for 8 years , Been a very relieable baler apart from the one that went up in smoke last year strange thing is it hadent been used for 2 days and went up after 10 bales all i will say the bailer man was a ex cowman and was soon bombed out soon afterwards
Kiwi6920
looks like shes a good basic baler, a local contractor had one this year, he blew the drive up twie on it, 16hp on hills, they dont like it, hes gone back to his class but was looking green

Jez
I know, only joking, they are good but it has been provent that a JD can bale a heavier bale! Everyting has their + and - points, i'll be the first to admit that.
nashmach
Interesting to see Welgwer is gone down the belt route too - that contractor must be making a mint or has a friendly bank with all the gear he is buying :D

batcher
Grand on flat large fields but a pain otherwise especially on hills It has been tryed 7 years ago on the back of a class 180 for about 2 weeks, then never went behind again ,The main reason was gateways to small havin to drop the wrapper off and then the bailer to drag the wrapper in and join back up again Even had a fusion for two seasons then got rid of
