Deere-est
Well Mark, at that farm it was an MF4370 no less. With a 12t Webcox and a 12t Richard Western to keep me going. In the winter an 8t Webcox was also added. Hauls were between 1/4 mile and 3 miles from the farm. Same farm we did silage at with a 6480 and the Western with its silage sides on. Pete, them TX combines are fantastic machines and owe alot to the very similar, earlier 8000 series. I enjoy using them apart from the very short feeder house making for back and neck ache!! Thanks for all your comments people

Deere-est
Right, pictorial updates in order from August 21st. A little bit of ploughing for a new ley. Didn't get to do much this year I like ploughing but it usually takes place when my labour isn't needed sadle. 8360 with the Kuhn 5f. The loader is on for wieght only, we didn't have a tractor in the yard to put the wafer pack on!
Deere-est
Some servicing on the Moore Unidrill, I took off all the bearing caps and filled with grease where needed and removed and reset the discs/hubs where needed too. It doesn't do a huge amount of acres but this drill is superb for grass and turnips. No electrics, it's merely 'a pull it out of the nettles and go' machine and it's owner and customers are very fond of it.
Deere-est
This was the moment the gearbox mounting sheared off on me on the TF42 when I was doing the last piece of spring rape. It powers the shaker shoe.
Deere-est
The gearbox and the shaft should be inline with one another, not at 90deg!

Deere-est
Apart from the odd patch, a nice 35ac block of linseed I cut for a customer at Dilton Marsh not far from our new gaff and where Tracis' parents live.
Deere-est
After a day in she yard cutting up wood with the guy who makes his winter business on it, I went wrapping during sunset with his TM155 and McHale HS2000.
Deere-est
Then it was time to take on another TM155 from another chap I am working for who makes up the group I run on grass and maize with and . . . oh it's all very complicated. . . the guy with the TX and TF (and 8360, 8340 and TM165) is also in the same group so I ferry around between them for different work. My first load of maize comes in.

Deere-est
The next day we were at the same farm and a bearing went in the corn cracker which was just as well. . . The farmer had bought in 200t of maize from another farmer and hauling it in were two 7530's, a 7810, an MF and a Claas Arion. A Fendt 924 was on the pit. I got a few photo's of them before I went to the pub while we waited for the corn cracker to be fixed.
