Yes the chopper is new this season, just got it a couple of weeks ago but its not an 'i' version just the standard model.  The 7930 and mowers are also new for this season and it will be the first time we have run with front and back mowers.

Picture below of us silaging last season with a 6930 we had on hire before ours was delivered.

Nice picture soilboy!

Does your 7450 have the rear mud gurads? In my opinion it looks horrible.

Is there many differences between the new 7050 series over the 7000 inside?, I know the styling is a bit different, the power is also different,

The 7450 is a 13.5 Liter engine, 6cyl. producing 556 HP at 1900rpm,

And the older 7400 is still a 13.5 litre, 6cyl but I believe only produces 500 HP at 1900rpm.

So a 7450 is more equivalent to a older 7500 of 570 HP. Which coincidently is exactly the same output as a 7700  ::).

When do we get the first pictures soilboy? And I wonder if Siku will bring a model one out this year? If so i'm stuck between that or the Jaguar 960  :D

I think the new 7450 is almost the same as the old 7400 although we have got the 630B header now instead of the 630A which is definitely an improvement.  I dont think the inside of the cab is any different at all although ive havnt looked at it much yet.

Ive attached a picture below of the new chopper in the shed and it doesnt have the rear mudguards, i assume they are only on machines with prodrive.  Also some pictures of us silaging last year and a couple of the old chopper back in 2006.

All the tractors carting are JD 6920S/Fendt 818 and yes there is a 6320 on a 14 ton trailer!  She copes alright though bt i prefer a bigger tractor to be boss of the job.  The old boy that drives the 6320 is dangerous enough with 100hp though so its best to keep him on something small but he has got a new 6330 for this season.
