Looking mighty smart Sir Capon you doing a batch up ready for toytrac  :-\ ;D ;D i can get hold of a load of base models for you  ;)  ;)

I think its optional where you have the exhaust as i know of a 6610 se with the exhuast on the bonnet and a farmer i know with a cab mounted exhaust on his 6310 se  ;) ;) :) :)

Looks great Paul  :) There must be quite a few Valtra T's that have died to give their wheels new life now I reckon :D

Is it too late to fill where the front cab roof work lights are, and then add a couple by the mirror brackets, also the SE's haven't got the tilting dashboard.

  • 2 weeks later...

This is back on the workbench now :o

I'm sorting the roof and worklamps but also i'm going for smaller wheels ::) ::)

I've started a 6810 now and think the Valtra T wheels will sort that better :-\

Don't know what to put on the 6410 now  ??? Valta C or McCormick MC115  ???

6810 hubba bubba  :o :o :o this might be a silly question and knock me down with a feather if it is but could you cast the 6810 bonnet etc so you don't have to keep joining them together  :-\ :-\

Because of the way the ERTL is made in two halfs it would be very difficult to do ::)

The only real way would be to have a proffesional pattern maker make a bonnet :o It could be done but your talking mega money ::) ::)

They both look great but what about the mudguards?

My guess is the axle isn't sitting correctly in the photo, making the mudguards look odd. I wouldn't see any problem with leaving mudguards on a loader tractor myself :-\

I agree - most tractors now have the mudguards left on as loaders are much tidier fitting on the tractor nowadays ;)

Nice conversion there Paul ;D
