Ziko
It was great weather on saturday so we were able to load up our onions. They were loaded on trucks and then transported to the factory, the trucks were some very nice Scania V8's from C. de Nood. The loading was done with a TS 115 (not ours) and a Grimme DS 1500. First onions going on the truck 7720 underneeth the loader The TS. Next truck Looks very nice if you ask me! Then I had to leave to help with harvesting sugar beets, I drove the 6810 with the Joskin. Nog een fototje van de R-serie in de avond
Ziko
Not many reactions, but no news is good news I guess Yesterday I had to do some muck spreading. I was driving the 6810 with Tebbe spreader. On-board Loadin 'r up Then I had to drive with sugarbeets again. They predicted rain so we had to go on at night. Actually it never rained but that's a minor problem And today again driving sugarbeets, it was a pretty big piece of land, we worked for 7 hours to get it done. nashmach
You seem to be a busy man the past few weeks Ziko - why do you not haul the beet yourself to the factory
Ziko
In Holland There aren't many sugar factory's left. So the distances are just to big to cover with a tractor.

Ziko
Thanks painter, I sure have! I still had some unposted pictures of harvesting sugarbeets from a customer. We had drive a while on the road so the customer also drove with his tractor. He used an brandnew Massey-Ferguson 7480 (didn't take a picture of it ) The tractor I drove is a John Deere 6810 with Breston tri-axle tipper and the harvester is a Riecam RBM 300-S. I hope you like the pics! The 6810 At night This is quite a nice shot I think With the harvester in the background! Little blurry, my camera doesn't really like taking pictures at night. Ziko
Thanks a lot! @Pete, will have a look into that in 2009 @Simon, well that sure would be a challenge @Rich, it's easier for the crane to load the beets on a truck this way. Jez
Nice photo's Ziko !! 1 question for you. Why do some diggers have an extra hydraulic ram on the arm? You have all of the same ones that we have but there is another one for the sencond arm that we do not usually have in the uk.
