Why has the John Deere on the tanker gor a funny hood on the front of the bonnet and the large roof? These pics were taken after the 1075's were cleaned for the new harvest. @Tris, thanks mate! The John Deere with tanker is spraying some sort of liquid on the coals that stops the dust from spreading. It creates some sort of chemical reaction with the coal. It is very bad stuff and you don't want to get this on your tractor too much. That's why the protection is there. Well not really, but it's new for us A John Deere 6520 from the latest series with the Common-Rail engine producing 127 HP. A very nice tractor with a lovely sound. Some pictures.
