John Deere 6410 2WD?

I was wondering about getting a ERTL JD 6410 and changing the front axle for a JD 4020 2wd axle has anyone done this yet?

best bet would be the front axel of a britains jd4020, with henri walkers fat 2wd front wheels added to that, otherwise just the normal ones fitted would do, but fats look better

How do you remove the axle from the 4020 and fix it on the 6410?

im unsure on that right now i need to find out

just pop the bonnet of the 4020 then remove the screws that hold the chassis halfs together, it just drops off

to refit just make two v shaped brackets with holes in the middel to fit the axel rods, then glue to the chassis,

the wheels you want from henri walker are listed as w2's in his catolouge, and are 10 and a half euros per set, resin hubs rubber tyres, they have goodyear on them and the little diamond shapes to

ok thanks for telling me that tractorman but sadly henri walker is sold out of those wheels and may not  even get them till November not sure what i'll do with 50 of them maybe ill make a 2wd nh 8670
