BC
Well that's it from me from the Scottish National tractor show at Lanark for 2008. I hope you enjoyed it... I certainly did but it was a tiring and and an expensive weekend.
James T
Great selection of shots Bill. Nice to see what I missed on the Sunday.
BC
Sunday was realy good James. No more tractors really than on Saturday in fact there were probably fewer, so the 40 odd lorries on Sunday was really nice since I kinda like them too. nashmach
Great show there - seems to be coming on leaps and bounds
BC
It is improving Colm and especially with all those commercials on Sunday. The tractor layout despite being inside is really quite bad but it has been that way for the past four years.
ratholderen
: great pics mate, many beautiful tractors trucks and machinery. Hope you have some fine days. It´s a pity Scotland is so far away from my home :o
BC
Well worth a trip over especially if your are into lorries as well as tractors.
BC
Oh one thing I did forget to mention were the traders at the show. We had the Old 20 parts company and I got this nice new reusable bag from Nick. Then we had Graham & Michelle of G&M Farm models Stephen Moat was there with his books and videos and I got this rather nice DVD on the Doncaster reds.. a really really good one On the model front there was also Pictoys and Anne & Brian Holmes
BC
On the auction there was also a narrow guage locomotive Fowler "Resilient" Mark VFA which was supposed to have been at the mart and on tracks for the sale however it was not and was a great disappointment for many having read in some of the magazines that that it was expected to be there. Never mind it was for sale despite not being there and was sold at £ 21,000.
