Very good Phil, I have witnessed getting things into the halls many years ago and machinery was a lot smaller then . I helped a mate get things down to Smithfield show one year everything had a timeslot to be taken in and if you missed it you were in trouble.

they were using something similar down here smithy ,when doing a big roadwork's job, but it had a built in chainsaw as well, they fitted it to the end of a merlo roto, so cut the limbs up high and just bought it down, so no climbing, lot quicker, road was closed for 2 hours max , rather than all night
Yes some have a chainsaw built in but for general work in hedge bottoms where you may hit something and mess chain up its best to shear them , chainsaw ones are neater on the finish

Bet it made short work of it smithy bit easier than doing it all with chainsaw
It certainly did , half of it was hanging the wrong way so would have needed a rope put on to give a tug which all takes time . Another thing was it was all the wrong side of ditch ,360 can grab and swing it over and place it down where i can go though picking out the big bits for firewood and then just push rest up into a heap and burn which i would have to do even if i had done it all by hand . It had to be cut before end of February so short timescale by hand but can clean up at any time , whenever i have a few hrs i can nip down and do a bit , but not this weekend 😉

Last ones,it will shear up to 300mm allow if hard like dead elm might only cut 250mm cleanly,by giving it a bit of a wiggle while cutting it will go through the big bits but not cleanly

Wednesday for 8hrs I was on chainsaw cutting bits that was stuck in fence so that 360 did not pull fence over as fence is not mine, bit of a job as brambles and stuff getting around legs and scratching your arms and face but got it done, one of my neighbours owns the machine and my mate works for them so he was on 360 ,we did other bit on Thursday morning, I just got to clear it up at some time, will cut out big bits for firewood and heap rest up and burn. Arms was aching by end of the day
