Probably not as busy today smithy but still didnt bump into you but i knew of a few folk there but didnt see them either

no not as busy today, i was looking out for you , only person i did bump into was the tractor twitchier David . yesterday at the last minute i waved to Alex from oakley farms ,he was talking to someone , me and goody had left bags of stuff at 4 or 5 places and had 20 minutes to collect them up so could not really wait to speak to him .   I got home about half hour ago so we had 2 long days up there

  2. Reported as 22,000+ people though the doors on first day , not many models about allow JCB did have a few and clothing, I asked on the Massey stand and valtra stand and they said they don't bring fan shop anymore as you can buy online from fan shop ,I said yes that's right but you have to add postage so ends up dearer and stand a chance of getting broken or lost , McCormick did not have any as well 🙁

  3. Me and Graham just had 3 currys between us and a portion of onion rings extra portions of chips and extra rice hahaha .at holiday inn just outside NEC , don't have to get up early in morning and have a long drive , have more time to walk around show

  7. When I parked up with McCormick at 7-30pm on Thursday night all seemed ok but when I got to it at 7am Friday morning rear wheel was completely flat ,had left tractor out on field as wheels was really muddy, anyway managed to blow it up and move it onto solid ground and dropped plough of and got it to Steam cleaner shed gave that wheel a wash and found a stone that had gone through, anyway one call and man in a van turned up ,all fixed so got back ploughing by 11ish and got field all done

Is LAMMA worth going to, in terms of models? I get that there is of course a fantastic display of agricultural machinery but is there much models for sale there? Thanks, thinking of going but bit unsure

When Lamma was at Newark and then Peterborough show ground a few years ago there was models to be bought, first year at the NEC there was a few to be bought ,last year there was only a few on the Kubota stand , this year with a few manufacturers returning to show there just may be some but I not expecting anything exciting but you never know

Are many folk planning on heading to lamma show in the NEC next week?

I should be up there with Goody on both days , hotel just 5 minutes away ,have to book it for next year as we leave this year as we just would not get in . We go up the day before the show start so we have 2 nights in hotel . Mr Softy used to stay at hotel on site but did not see him last year

Another few hours and the orbital is on the bench along with the power steering pump as the input shaft seal has been wanting changed for the past couple of years so thought ideal time whilst the steering system is in bits... Looks like at some point in its earlier life the pump to orbital pressure pipe has burst, and looks like Stevie wonder has had a go at brazing up the pipe... A flock of seagulls wouldn't have made as much of a mess as that..... So a replacement will be sourced when shopping list made of seals and parts... Seeing as I missed yesterday thought I'd include a clip of the 472... Sounding reet 👍
