  1. Only learned about this last night. Modelfest scotland will be at the Thainstone exchange, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire tomorrow Sunday 19th March. Have a search for it and you should land on the facebook page for it.
  2. Its on the trusty JCB.. version 2 (if i get round to building it) should allow the brackets to be changed. i've got numerous designs made, just not had the time / inclination to do the physical bit :D. If anyone is keeping score. the Shed is still in bits waiting for suitable roofing material to be found. Have made a template for the sheets.
  3. A bale grab that is complete as of last night except for painting. Already designing version 2 to aid in consistency. Got a grand total of 8 things (and counting) to paint but not doing them until I have enough to justify opening new jar of Primer.
  4. Which hitch have they put on the MF?, the one from the late 80s/early 90s in order to get the cultivator to fit? If you didn't know, Britains have had at least 3 types with the latest incarnation having thicker solid arms that stops older stuff from being attached due to the gap in between being narrower.
  5. if you plant all those tress does that count towards various targets and as a result payments? I don't think the regs specify what type of tree it has to be...so with the right camera angle and a bit of imagination.....😁
  6. I'm in the process of trying to make implements and thought I would try to make brackets generic enough that could fit any tractor. The Legends Vicon Spreader comes with an adapter plate that seems to be too wide for Schuco (and by the looks of it, anything else with the same style hitch). This has now lead me to start measuring all the different hitches I have within reach to try and see if there is some common ground while keeping things sensible looking. So far Schuco seems to be narrowest, and UH front links the widest. 6.8mm between the outside edges of those 2. How are other members handling all the variations?
  7. 10 euro. ha, Why do I foresee this appearing on border force in a few years time:- I bought the front tyres from them, the front axle from someone else, rims from those 2 over there, half a chassis from them, the other chassis from them over there. I helped someone cross the road, they dropped the bonnet, The Cab mysteriously appeared albeit upside down. The labour cost: well I bought the glue and assembled while waiting in the queue. The value: well nobody will want it after I have started on it.....
  8. Are you saying those of us that attended were part of some other larger display?? Turtles all the way down I say! In all fairness i left with a few dangerous ideas...
  9. Ive been looking for one of these, but the price has been scary (and doesn't seem to have got much better since last time I looked). it would appear the 6140 has been replaced by a 6C now as well. fun fact, there are 2 versions of this model: a Ros general release (as above) and A deutz dealer version with part code: M09D117 Version differences from what I can see are the dealer version, doesn't have a front weight, has a number plate and misses out the tyre advertisement. some website also mentioned the drawbar comes with a pin.
  10. Maybe everyone is playing farming simulator 😆- lets face it for the most part its the only way some people will get "near" anything agricultural. Shows have been few and far between, those that do run have to be booked or in some cases have to have some connection or business to attend. For some reason I know of someone that got in to FS19, no idea how or why although seems to enjoy it. I know personally between work, studying and general life administration (and the odd bit of the above) I have a bale grab waiting for assembly/bits to fabricated for at least 4 months. Also finding items locally is starting to become a challenge, and when you start going down the line of 50+ (or 80+) for a 1:32 model, you start to question the volume of purchases.. never mind, 4 days until the accounts department release the budget codes for 2022
  11. Was that before or after you attempted to use said bench?
  12. Not a question, but came across this on youtube while looking for something else:- Might be useful to someone. (the content isn't mine, merely sharing a link to it for others to view)
  13. From memory this was all caused by Photobucket changing their Ts and Cs. If you had a free account with them after a certain date you weren't allowed to embed the content on a non photobucket site. You could still post a link to the photo. If you still have access to your photobucket account, you may still be able to retrieve them directly from photobucket. Technically (read your Ts and Cs ), if you still have an account with them, you could download the images, modify the posts and then upload the images to the forum (or post the text links to each of the photos). Can anyone else back corroborate this, or anyone else who went through the pain already, perhaps @Andy Searching through the forum, the links to the photobucket pages still seem to exist (where pictures used to be). Disclaimer: I never had a photobucket account to begin with and my memory could be wrong, please delete if I am, and accept my apologies for the inadvertent misinformation.
  14. Delete if this has been mentioned somewhere else The Royal Highland Agricultural Society of Scotland are running a chunk of the Annual Highland show online. Stock Judging etc. is running from 14 - 20th June. (this week). There are 4 live streams and various videos on demand (hosted via youtube so fair chance it should "just work"). Timetable for the streams is available on the website. https://www.royalhighlandshowcase.org PS, I have nothing to do with this, just thought it might be of interest to a few people.
  15. That looks to be fairly similar to what Border Fine Arts used to do when they were around.
