Took my last set of pictures of the model farm for Februrary today, that's it until March! :'(
-
Been pretty mild and sunny here for the past two days...... :'(
When are we getting some of the white stuff? :'(
You can have what's left of last night's snow Mart...I got my last farm pictures until spring today, so I don't want to see any of it anymore!
:D

Cheers Mark!

Ah well, hopefully you will be luckier next time mate. May sound a bit crazy, but it took me two years to get the lawnmower I have as nobody wanted to sell theirs. Just keep looking, we all know that hopefully soon you will get lucky and get your tractor.

Looks good mate, are yo going to leave it as it is and make it resemble a rock ledge, or cover it with grass?
-
Good yarn: nice pics
Cheers John!
great pics ccf that mf looks nice
Cheers Rich!
Oh Tim... they just get better... so pleased I was allowed a go in the Massey at last
- sorry about the mess I left on the seat
- I was excited....
As for Bazza... I just LOVE that description... the "evil" Bazza... just sums him up really
Like the digger shots as well... very nice mate... I keep expecting a "snow clearing" one.. when's your snow booked for Tim
Cheers Marky, you do realize that cleaning the MF is your job though.
:D
As a matter of fact we got a bit of snow this morning, I think I will have a second snow removal journal next sunday.

Woke up this morning to a good 1/2 inch of snow on the ground, snowblower pictures today if all goes well!

Impressive work as usual, I can't get over how realistic your conversions and farming scenes are!

FARM JOURNAL #24
This week has been slow on the farm, we are trying to work on small projects and tidy up the farm for the spring. We have had extremely cold days over the past few days, fortunately all of our employees showed up for work each day, and all that needed to get done was finished.
Our excavator has been giving us problems ever since Christmas, so we will be sending it to the dealer for repair. In the meantime, we are using the IH backhoe to continue digging the areas of the pond that have not frozen over:
View from the cab:
From a distance:
Meanwhile, Marky is in the skid steer picking up any loose dirt that may have fallen into the pond while digging out the pond:
Dumping the dirt in the dirt pile:
Meanwhile, another farm employee is moving our recently purchased forage chopper and wagon down to the barn:
Because Marky had not attempted to vandalize any of the John Deere's over the past week, he got to ride out into the woods in the 3630 to search for the evil Bazza:
He searched all of the trails and fortunately found nothing, so he turned around and headed back for the farmyard:
Here is this week's background image:
Hate to say it, but that's all for this week folks.

Snowing lightly, hoping for a light dusting so I can get some more snowblower pictures!

Another great conversion from Dave (dmac)
This tractor started out as a Scale Models "05 Louisville Show" cab version. Removed the cab and used the fenders from a SM 1100 shelf model. Replaced the original front tires/rims with 12.5L-16's and dish rims. Kept the stock rear tires & cast rims but replaced the original axle with 3/16 rod with painted axle extensions. Kept the stock plastic 3pt hitch and at some point may decide to replace it with a metal one. Added a rear fender light and plastic head lights. Hadn't been able to come up with a stock version w/f 1150 open station so did a little shuffle of what I had.Dave

Amazing work, great detail!

I may have seen one of those in the past and not realized it. What year were they made? Loaders of a similar size are moslty used for small nurseries or landscaper supply stores.
-
Clear skies and cold here, woke up at 6am and the temperature was -17. Warmed up a few degrees, currently -13.

3 and 4 hp Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke engine Tim
Not my cup of tea really... but it's got Massey on it... so I have to have it
:D
Intereesting mate, wonder why they chose Briggs and Sttratton over Tecumseh as they use Tecumseh engines on the lawn mowers. Suprisingly enough, that has to be the first walk behing roto tiller with a vertical shaft engine. Must be a weight balance issue.
-
Interesting wee machine there, never know Massey made those.
What kind of engine does it have?
-
Finished my last exam today.

Thanks all for the kind words, i'm quite glad it turned out as nice as it did. I was unsatisfied with the axle length, so I cut a few millimeters off. Here are some pictures of the finished article:
-
Impressive collection mate, quite a variety of kit represented!
-
I've thought the same thing for a while too.
I expected the Kuhn Mower Conditioner to fit the 3pt and was surprised when it didn't. I'm fully expecting the Prosol to fit the Uh 3pt. Someone please tell me it does

It does indeed TOG, Jason posted up a few pictures of it:

Got two more exams out of the way, then home early for a bit of tractor drifting!
Any new 07 reg tractors around??

To be honest mate, i'm not sure of the answer as the newest fullsize tractor i've driven was from the 50s!

Some of the TTS memebers are real farmers and mechanics, I would try asking it in the Real Toy Talk section.![;)](//dmikppnxtkspw.cloudfront.net/emoticons/default_wink.png)
