  6. Hi guys, been awhile since I have been on the forum. I had been persuing other interests (toy soldier collecting) and thought I would share some websites that I found as they have some brilliant scenic pieces that could be used for your farm dios. The following are based out of the US. First up is Hudson & Allen Studios(the owner is a sculptor for First Gear/Britains) Their stuff is stunning. They also do a grass base which is very nice indeed. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=1191 Next up Build-A-Rama They have recently come out with a varied range of mats that can be cut to size or custom orders can be made to suit your specs. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=124
  7. Have a look for them in the States Sean, they are (stone walls) only about $30 a set over here.
  8. Thats the one Sean, was a Christmas present. The detail is amazing and it wieghs a tonne. Still have to get those stone walls myself.

  11. Hi Thomas I have just read this whole thread. What a great farm you have. I like it very much. I have a few 1:87 pieces because I used to have a model railway. I think maybe I should build a 1:87 scale farm Keep up the good work !!
  12. I think these got lost so am re posting, I think I also have a couple of new repaints so will dig them out and post.
  13. I'd respectfully disagree. If you cast ebay aside (as that is such a rollercoaster fro pricing) I would say that from what I have seen, the prices seem fair market value.
  14. The white and black standing lambs are the second series from Britains. The Herald ones were similar.
  15. Thanks for the info, yes I have his website, shame he doesn't mention his own book though
  16. Just went through this whole thread. What a great farm you have Rich keep up the good work.
  17. Wow Richie that is amazing. Just goes to show even in a small scale you can get great detail and have fun.
  18. Thanks for the help PDH and powerrabbit I see the book listed Karens site along with a couple of other Britains books .
  19. Thanks for the info PR although the webaddress link doesn't work.
  20. Not sure if this has been posted (it's been a while forgive me ) I recently have purchased this book and while it hardly has any pictures it does have lots of prices realized at recent auctions from some of the big names in the business. Worth £6.99 in my book. http://www.toypriceguide.co.uk/britians/britains.htm
  21. Can anyone give me a site where I can purchase this book. The ebay link no longer works. Thanks Scott
  22. An awesome set for sure and a very nice piece to add to your collection. 2 of the lambs appear to be the "newer versions" ?
