Up until a few years ago, I didn't realize how long Britains had been around. I only really knew about the farm and zoo stuff that I collected as a kid in the early 80's. Always hung on to it and dragged it all over the world, lost a few pieces along the way :( plus the bits that got broken then tossed in the bin. There is so much to collect I don't think you would ever have a complete collection of Britains. I generally try to pic pieces that appeal to me, I have mostly farm, but quite a lot of zoo, military, circus and ceremonial items also.

Here is the Farmhouse they made....the base at the front had holes to "plant" flowers in.

They did make a farmhouse, not in the floral garden section though. I'll see if I can find a pic somewhere. \ \ Don't think Marcus would agree Tris, although the pic is not the best that is actually a lass :D

I have the eighties versions of all of these and also the current versions the haven't changed in size just undergone different paint variations some good some bad
