  1. I'll bring the camera, but I'll be spending more time concentrating on trying to do a good job!
  2. Long way to go as well. I think this lot got their feces from Bristol or therabouts \
  3. Sorry I wasn't paying close enough attention Tris, does this look familiar?: http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,33708.msg714633.html#msg714633 I'll be told in a few days.
  4. Just out of interest, when was the last time anyone heard a two-tone emergency siren be it police, fire or ambulance? Last one I heard in Stroud was in the mid-90s I think.. \
  5. Only got one off today, one of the John Deeres spreading human poo:
  6. Britains 4721 Cowshed and 4716 Cottage. The Cowshed with the yellow doors was to be cannibalised to build up my current (red doored) cowshed, but there's risk of damage if I start pulling them apart.
  7. Today I had a job interview with a large farm near Cirencester. I drove one of their Masseys, a 6480, pulling a 12T Cherry(sp?) trailer. There were numerous other Masseys including a 7495 and a 8690 with a huge Fendt front weight block. In a shed a Bateman sprayer being prepped, plus several JCB telehandlers. The equestrian people alone have access to three large New Hollands, and the farm also uses a number of contractors. One such team I saw with two huge John Deeres and Bunning spreaders emptying human waste over harvested fields. It's only temporary work and I would be a back up driver. I should know in a few days. Back home, the builder wanted me to tow his son-in-law's van to the garage which had a suspected damaged fuel filter. My 2-tonne rope snapped in mid-pull so I had to drive to Halfords to get a 3.5 tonne one, which fortunately did the trick. £5 covered the fuel cost but what about my poor clutch?
  8. Grey base 1968 Animal Transporter (average condition) and an early edition Ransomes Seed Drill in poor condition, along with a mixed bag of Britains implements and tractors.
  9. When in Bath I always take the opportunity to visit the Schwartz Bros takeaway, they do the best burgers in the south west
  10. Lots of tractors spotted on the going to and returning from Hereford on the A49: JD 6520, Claas 420 Arion, Fendt 820, 7000-series MF, all either carting grain or straw bales.
  11. No I've had one of these and you can buy a repro metal cab (unpainted) on Ebay.
  12. It must be a well painted reproduction Steve as they were always plastic (and easily breakable)
  13. Lovely bits 'n pieces from HLT; Ford SM 5000 (65-68) and mounted crop spray; rare purple roll from c1976; Britains round bales.
  14. Local farmer in his 35 series NH conventional baling with a JD 359 and new bale grab
  15. £176 bill from Ermin Plant after bending their hedge trimmer
