The T6/6150 really needs better wheels and tyres. Now keeps me back from buying another one. Note that the 4130/T5.140 wheels are 34 inch whereas the T5.110/115 are 38 inch. Better look at the Britains Case IH Maxxum 150. Those are 55mm rear and 42 mm front. Just a little bit larger and should have the correct wheels. Only needs a respray and probably some work to fit to the UH axles. On that note, tyres of the Britains T6.180 are too large as that is based on a T7. Strange that Britains did not use Maxxum 150 as a base for the T6....

Hope for the Massey guys UH improve the quality of the 6S and 7S. If not, take out the glass and remove the black edges with nail polish remover and paint the rubbers on the cab frame black or use a permanent marker. Should not be a big job. Just wondering why UH did not announce the sales date of the T7.300.

You may want to check out these video's for the installations. When you want to drive a T6 Methane tractor you have to pressurize the biomethane from the digester. It's either pressurizing for CNG(to feed into the grid or for your T6) or producing electricity by a generator. The Bennamann installation is a monodigester, so only biogas from manure. The installation SPN describes is mostly fed by silage and other stuff.

At the fair in Hardenberg I bought a New Holland 8560 with a broken front axle carrier. I had a remodelling plan for that, so then you are left with a cab. With a chassis of a Ford 5640 from Pieter Dijkstra, it can be turned into a complete tractor again. Given the fenders of the cab, it must be one of the last 40-series from New Holland that were built from '96 to '98. Chassis painted, final drives made thinner, bonnet sprayed and fitted with air intake and new stickers from Farmmodels, 40-series dashboard put in, mirror repaired and work lights removed from the cab handles, bottom piece of the windshield taped and the bottom black edge removed, different windshield wiper and like a real livestock tractor, the rear window open. I was a bit hesitant about the number of steps. I always thought that these types had 3 steps, but I found pictures on the internet with only 2. I think it has to do with the version, because I also saw that this one also lacks a 2nd fuel tank under the cab. Bit disappointing is that the blue of the hood is not quite right. I had previously ordered this from Farmmodels as Ford blue. Ford and New Holland have used several shades of blue over the years. The Ford blue aerosol I had was more the New Holland color from '96 to around 2000. The aerosol had run out on another project so I ordered a new one. Unfortunately, this color differs from the previous one. Checked the numbers on the spraycans again, and they were the same.... This color is not really New Holland blue. The paint quality of the real ones was not too good at that time. The bonnets have often been repainted. Next time a spray can from the New Holland dealer. Turned out a nice tractor. It's already standing in front of the feeder on the shelf.

With the coronation of King Charles today I was curious which tractors the Royal family are running on their farms today. I know they used to run Ford. Found a pic of Prince William with a Ford 8210. Good to hear Prince George is tractor obsessed. Another weirdo just like us.😉

When you zoom in on the picture from farmmodels.nl you can see a large tyre sticking out just under the tarp. Stabliofarmer is correct about farmmodels.nl's fascination with Veenhuis but I'm not sure if a brand that's only available in parts of Europe and NZ can be called a world brand. And Marge has already produced this one.

Glad to be able to help. I'm not really into trains and this era but I find it interesting that there were farms that had their own railways. This takes you back to the ages of County, Roadless and others where large manufacturers did not custom build for larger farms and a lot of inventions came from the farm workshop, built with minimal cost and old war supplies. Must have been fascinating times but I guess I'm a bit too young.

I get it. You may have to repaint them. There are also some JD mechanics by Schuco. Even their models seem to break down. 😉 Where in your age one guy could repair everything with wire, hammer and a spanner nowadays they need 3 guys to find a needle in a haystack. Welcome Ed, good to hear that a North American is interested in 1/32. We mostly see 1/64 or 1/16 from over there. Your theme is a bit difficult combination. I'm not into trains so I don't know if there are many in 1/32. Of course there are trains in 1/87 but tractors and farm machinery mainly have a German theme, and there are not many models. You may find some newer John Deere or Fendt tractors and Case/Claas/JD combines and some balers, but implements are rare. For the ag side 1/32 would be my choice for a North American theme. From the 50's might be difficult but Ertl, Britains and Universal Hobbies still produce models from the 60's and 70's that can be purchased new in the NA at model stores or from Amazon or eBay. Some examples for you: Ertl John Deere 4020, IH 756/1586, UH Ford 5000 and Britains New Holland TR70 combine(older). Newer models are readily available. Here's a good site to do some research on what has been produced: farmmodeldatabase.com Here are some used 1/32 trains for sale here in Holland: ≥ Vind spoor 1 in Modeltreinen | Overige schalen op Marktplaats.
