  4. has to be the 135, such a small model and very usefull, although i do like the renault 155.54 turbo haha... and........ there was a pair of yellowe 135'S near me, the pair came from massey new and were ordered in the yellow colour, they were used by the council until one was damaged in a fire and scraped (shes in a nearby yard somewhere??) and the other one was sold in auction and used as a scraper tractor and had a hegdecutter fitted to her, and finnally she was sold to a private collector, dont know hwere it is now though, but i remember it well with its little yellow cab and topper... sorry to change the subject just thought i would share that....

  9. thanks fb, yes college is good, go back tonight, supposed to be at work experiance today but i left my overalls at coll and my second cousin isnt at work today so will be boring!!!! i have loads of storys and pictures to post when i have time........... on the subject of the slurry guzzler............. not many about i no that, but the majority are made by 'slurry guzzler' and are yellow with red wheels, they work by reversing the entire tanker into a ramped lagoon. the tanker has a vacuum but also a corkscrew system at the back for tougher sludge, they are prone to blocking and clogging with 'biily band' but the later models resolved this common problem i beleive. the positive features of these machines are there tough build, quick fill and i mean quick fill hence 'guzzler' , and the new ones are all galvanised and stainless, however down sides are the horsepower requirement and the blockage factor, plus not everyone has a ramped lagoon. however on mine you will notice an exit to one side, you can fill via pipes from here. and it can be used to side spread to, and my added extra was top fill lid :D :) it does it all................. can anyone get me the decals???? thanks....
  10. hi everyone, always had a thing for slurry guzzlers. and you never see many around, dont even start on the manufacturer :D so i decided the farm would look nice with one, its made from a britains 'milk tanker' tank, lonestar wheels, dowel, plastic pipin etc.......... doesnt look too bad, i will have nore picturesw this afternoon of it 'used' should be messy!!!! thoughts welcome please.............. sven....
  11. fantastic ian, i will deffinatly be wanting one of these some time, however im only interested in hi-spec livery.......... any chance you will do this livery, you only need decals........... good job!!!!!!!

  18. good job pdc! i know a few farms which would think that was new : : i will always remember my lonestar international :D :D it was repainted very similar ;D
  19. hi all......... all ive done is took my old 6600 and changed the rear wheels............. but for some reason i like it and it looks quite small.................. im going to make a rotavator in the future when i have time, and i think i will have it as a hortic tractor....... well my farms handy tractor............. looks like a ford 5000 now! p.s i am buying my moulding kit soon and the slurry stirrers will be back on track along with the pumps..... thanks........... sven
  20. very nice........... that is very smilar to the bomford turbo tiller........... me and my friend always comment how dangerous turbotillers look, you can use them at a high speed! and when you see them in action flinging soil everywere and those blades flinging around like a powerharrow, going full pelt ha ha! fixed to a marshall......... well you stand back for sure :D
  21. i might have to go OT if theres a grey girl up for grabs :D :D go on marky, crash the server using OT tactics :D :D
  22. well from what ive learnt at college, from what i remember (hangovers) you can use them on stubble feilds, might take another run over, but it will start the proccess. the springs on the tines simply stop obstructions, but also create a 'flciking affect' on the soil if you can see what i mean.......... you do know something matty ha ha!
  23. spring tined cultivator, can be placed straight into stubble after a subsoil, or after discing to break the ground up more. but it simply breaks the ground up like matty a said! a proccess not using a plough.......... the tines break up weeds (like matty said ) but can make rows ready for the bed prep........ they can help with drainage but not a great deal as they dont reach the pan.............
