  3. like the pics mate , especially the 188 & the side view line up as for the monster truck big pete it belongs to steve murty, a truckfest regular , he's also got one of the few official bigfoot trucks, a wheelie fire engine & a jet powered ford cargo that can blow over a caravan (yawn) thats why truckfest numbers are falling , same old same old ..........

  7. umm........... no have to agree with the chaps above kev , i'll get some pics of the condition of some 35's i see on my travels , then you'll see how lucky you are , but as said it's down to personal preference
  8. before it's sprayed , will have to get a couple of gaskets fitted first !
  9. simply because kev , you very rarely find an untampered 35 /35x, & if it is untampered it's been on a yard scraper & beat to peices, letting the dung eat away at all the places it shouldn't be or a paint brush job .you wouldnt believe the condition of most 35's i see in desparate state of dis-repair , they'd be prime for restoration but not your's mate it really is too good my bonnet is dented , there is a dent & a tear on one of the mudguards , if it was as straight as your's i wouldn't bother with a re-spray
  10. hooraa ! does that mean i can stop looking for wally's in their citroen sicko's :D
  11. well sean for the £ he quoted , it'll be the whole thing except the cab frame , which i'll probably do myself

  16. also saw a chap about a re-spray , so in a month or so , she'll be off up the road for some paint to be splashed on her
  17. the other side wasn't none too clever either , so the same treatment applied all done & no slack , main axle pivot has no slack& the wheel bearings are both good , so just greased up & done
  18. all cleaned out & re-fitted wheel stud broken so knocked & fitted new one
  19. dropped the stub axle & dug out the remains of the old bearing , been a while since any ballbearings went round in here \ old with new
  20. well due to the fact she's carried a loader round on her for most of her working lfe , i knew there'd be some bad news at the front , so with new thrust bearings in hand i set about fitting them
