there's a link to where toytrac is mate but not i think better than spalding ,the venue is smaller , but with luck last years 'new' venue will attract more sellers than it used to, so from last year bigger & better , it will be a few years before it gets to spalding size

well i supose the Massey ferguson & Oliver do share a small ammount of ancestry, in a very distant , married my uncles wifes step brothers 2nd cousin twice removed best friend sort of way. yes you could say MF & Oliver have been related in the past & have a common denominator in another brand baby camel awww i was just starting to like you as well ............................ seeing as a few people have said never heard of those or never seen one of those , i'd better put up a pic to show some authenticity to the origins of this tractor -

hmm does lend itself to being something different Ol few years back in the day i remember seeing one at the royal show 83 /84 ? along with a white one with arabic decals, took pics & they didn't come out , forgot all about them till a few years ago i found a pic of a green massey been wanting to do one ever since -
i've seen a few here mark , but wether they were sold here or bought as imports i dont know
-
now i could well be wrong here so don't quote as said , but as far as i know the 50 started out as the ferguson 40 & badged 50 by massey harris the MH 50 had slightly different bonnet styling , once the 40 was phazed out it was renamed as the MF 50 , not being a great seller here as the MF65 was released

well simon when JD actually get it right , they'll put a bit of effort in on their birthday celebrations :D -
no the real ones wern't available in white but britains went through a bad stage of casting wheels & cabs etc. in white , the 362 also had white fittings, even the deutz 6.50 & 4.71 was released with white wheels instead of silver/grey, i think a few MF6180's were as well
-
dont know about the centre but the rims are in meltdown stage i didn't think these white 26's were that expensive , i thought the grey ones were to ones to look for
-
hang on i've got a topic of tractors on my journeys , with pics of the lorries i drive & you've commented on both tractors & lorries

he seemed a pretty decent chap , but i wouldn't ask him to keep anything a secret jez :D told me all about ,the stage trailer specially built for the events etc , seemed happy enough to have a chat while we were both on break
-
if you manage to get down any earlier mark you might have time to have a look see at the 168

well done kev looks like a good day was had , but where was adam ? not bad to be let loose on yer first day ploughing mate , but then he has just had his fields ploughed for free i guess , & i like the amount of trees hiding you're best efforts from the neighbours :)
-
just wondering mark but when you were ploughing i take it the stabiliser chains were slackened off ? & your rear wheel was out of the furrow when you lined up when you set the plough down for the next run ?
-
what time we need to be there on the sunday sean ? & you'll have to ring me nearer the date anyway , got a memory like a sieve these days
-
16/32 or a 16/16 dan ? whichever it is , looks like the cowman will get a bit of exercise each milking
-
so does that mean you're not going to be in the country for the upcoming JD 5**** series tractor tour of the UK ?
-
this is all totally unrealistic mate , no really it is , where's the pile of scrap each worksop seems to aquire ? all the old pairs of overalls , wet weather coats & of course , the 8 pairs of mismatched wellington boots , the old seaside naughty postcards stuck on the wall , the 20 odd bent toplinks that for some unknown reason are never thrown out , the page 3 poster from 1974, the austin allegro estate in chocolate brown in the corner of the workshop , that failed MOT, of which another worker parked there 15 years ago swearing blind he's get it through next year but will never be done . so how come you can walk up to your workbench instead of fighting your way to it like most do?
-
trouble is the older the masseys get , the more tired you'll find the hydraulics seen loaders on them but fint them hard work on a tractor that size & unless you're going to get full length stress bars for the loader the casting on the 699 won't like it , i used to drive a brilliant 699, till the boss broke it's back :'( still think the valmet is a better deal
