  1. Nice kit and a very tidy machinery fleet from what you said. looks a bit wet on those headlands
  2. Got the combine and baler and latest tractor one for christmas. Great books in my eyes well worth the money. I wonder if he will also do one on implements as that i would like to see
  3. Exactly, although its not a highly detailed as UH at least it wont fall apart after the slightest of knocks And the line up for this year may be because they want to push another side of the company this time round.
  4. Looking great rich. Great start to expand from
  5. Thanks you 2. much appreciated. I have the same feeling towards the maxxums too fordson major. Dad had a 5130 and 5140 when I was younger so i decided to do this one up. Have just had it together for the first time and I am pleased with it so far. Got some more stuff to do to it yet like indicators nad maybe some mirrors if I can find some
  6. In our Maxxum 140 because the door is so big when you close it it catches so much air that it won't shut properly unless you open the sunroof or back window.
  7. Well i decided my ertl case needed a refurb. So i decided to take it apart and start again. I have added new lights on the cab, cab rails, new front axle, front linkage, and painted floorplan new wheels and a new linkage. Its not quite finished yet, need to get some side lights and door mirrors sorted. Here's a picture just to show how far i have got.
  8. Yeah they are Ricky. we reckon it was where the previous owner had a big tractor on it cause we had it on the 6510 and it was fine just wont be able to go on the maxxum because of its big backside Oh and yeah its 1987 model just to clear that up
  9. Cheers boys, not bad for over 20 yr old
  10. As I said here are a couple of pictures of our new AS trailer I know they are not the best pictures but theres not enough space there for good ones \ Oh and just for tris a picture of our fertiliser spreader to give him a better idea of what it looks like
  11. Someone on here put little magnets on the hub of each wheel. Cant remember who it was but a picture would explain it
  12. I agree with Tris and Gav. And also I can't really see the point. At the end of the day a trailer is a trailer, they all do the same job
  13. Clever idea I reckon, Simple but very affective. When I first saw it I wondered what the hell it was going to be
  14. Its fairly old i think TM810. yh we use the auger in the background of the first pci to fill all of the bins but use the blower to empty them
  15. bet that was lovely. Ours isn't too bad to be honest alothough we don't load lorries with it anymore as it takes too long
  16. Yeah you got it, it also be used the other way round so if you were to park the tractor and blower facing the other way then you could fill the silo with it.
  17. well long time no posts so I am planning to make up for it over the christmas period. Also we have just purchased a new marston grain trailer after hte other one was stolen So here goes, getting oats out of bins the other week only 2 pictures to start with Firstly the 6510 on the sucker blower- does sound good running it i must admit then the blower itself, been on the farm a few years now i think
  18. Ours is of a similar age i think Marky. 1989 i think. All we have had to with ours is weld one hub up which considering its age isn't too bad. I reckon you got a friday afternoon machine. Now we have just bought a 10t marston of a similar age. Very smart trailer, has been resprayed at some point. Hopefully that won't cause too much trouble either
  19. Well even though I weren't very old when my dad had one, has to be the case 5100 series he had a 5130 and 5140 as far as I know hardly had a problem with either of them. Hopefully next year he will buy me one, well that's the plan anyway
  20. Is that from that demo day in cork by any chance jez. Completely agree TM810 nad Gav. no offence to anyone but people moving out of london to the countryside have absolutely no idea but don't want to have any idea from what I've seen. If you say good morning to them them basically run away
  21. Mind if I ask where you got them?
  22. Nice set-up. i like them trailers
  23. Exactly right nick. The last good tractor series they made before fiat done too much. The same happened to case in 99 when the last good tractors they made was the Mx series. Then fiat ruined another company, eliminated each other from the market and left the door wide open for john deere and even massey
