i think the tractor is based on this photo an original one from toptractor.it has mirrors wrong way, wide wheels, turn on ehaust and a grill guard.
I was reliably informed during the summer that although Colm's neighbour's tractor was viewed and photographed by the Ros people, the model is based on measurements from another tractor in the midlands, possibly the one Paul has posted. This would account for the slight difference in the grille guard and the mirrors and whatever other differences might emerge. As for the decals, they are easily switched by Ros to give whichever version they wanted.
My opinion on the exhaust is that they tried to slope it forward a bit like the exhaust on most Fiats, but unfortunately the seem to have overdone it. However it may be possible to rectify this and to me it will not take from the model, which I have had on order for a while now and hope to get this week.

James we couldn't get a Valmet what would JM say :D
I know exactly what he would say - Feckin' Rockin' Horses!!!! :D

superb photos
does anyone have any further details on the UH valtras? date of release? price? box design?
thanks
Hear hear, are the black and yellow ones new editions or the same as the ones launched last year? Did anyone get their hands on the limited edition Siku Valtras, Heard there were long queues for them and it was strictly one per person, so no hope of the usual dealers having a stock :(

:D
No wonder Dinny you didn't reply to my text :D
So will ye lads start the collection for us to get a 7810
Money can't be that scarce with ya that you couldn't stretch to buy the tractor you want, its a false economy to settle for second best. Anyway you know my opinion on 7810s, unfortunately they never made any with crash boxes, so I recommend a nice Valmet 6600

I have all three. Custom Cutters is by far the best with plenty of extras besides the actual programme. Yellow Trail is interesting to put a historical perspective on things and see how things were done in the seventies, but is shorter than the others.

That JCB looks superb but I bet will be expensive - Dr Andy Jewell will be bucking over this one
He'll be bad enough without you going changing his name! ;)

Nice, definitely on my list of things to buy :)

Todays update...
Well as I stated in another topic.. since I've owned 'Frank' (you can blame pops for the name)... I've done very little work - it's just sooooo much fun to take Frank for a run - any excuse I can find... and I do
Nooo! you can't call her Frank, that's a boys name :o Call her Mary-Ellen instead *

why is everyone so sharp on text talk its not going to kill you if you miss some letters out isit
Where do you draw the line though Rich? Pretty soon it becomes unreadable, especially for people with reading difficulties or poor eyesight. Its not going to kill you to type a few extra letters is it?

i think it is James \, hopefully it will be on the new server when we move from the temp one :)
Well were're getting new forum software as well I believe Ben, so that will probably change everything around again \ Anyway enough OT [

I think that's abot all I chose... but I'll add to this when I remember more - I reckon I will have missed a few things off
You forgot to tell us about the tyre options Marky.
I agree with the others about needing tose two extra front work lights just to fill the gaps in the roof panel. i wouldn't be too bothered abot the twin beacons though \

That looks really good. Have they been done especially for you, as the one in the picture has your web address on it. If so. how many are being manufactured as they will no doubt become very valuable as time passes. How well do you expect the plating to last? I like the UH Power Major in brushed silver, but worry about it's life expectancy and whether it will fade, discolour or flake off after a few years.
That's actually a watermark/signature on the photo :

They both look great but what about the mudguards?
My guess is the axle isn't sitting correctly in the photo, making the mudguards look odd. I wouldn't see any problem with leaving mudguards on a loader tractor myself \

hi mate i just loaded them up as per normal
Oh right, must be a new feature of the forum so

hi james just done there tonight after i done the jcb
I like the JCBs Steven but I meant how did you get the pictures so they become larger when you click on them?
-
another jcb done and ready for a buckrake
(click on image to view them larger)
Very fancy with the photos Steven, how did you do that?

You can't go around rescuing every old heap of scrap that comes your way. If you want to do up a 2640 I suggest you look for a good 'un. Anyway, when you've had that nice new Massey for a few weeks you'll forget all about this old heap ;D

Any reason for ploughing the game cover so shallow Simon?
-
My personal favourite has to be drawing silage, nothing like going off for a day exploring new roads and farmyards, plus you're always moving so it never gets boring. Here's a pic of the 6650 at our own last year:
After that I enjoy baling, wrapping silage and ploughing.

Chopped up sisal twine might work well for straw? Hard to get nowadays though \

I found this on the Dutch ebay, does anybody know what the story with it is?
http://cgi.ebay.nl/Valtra-T190-Traktor-Bj-2006-blaumetallic-1-43-1-E_W0QQitemZ370170416478QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSpielzeugautos?hash=item370170416478&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
As far as I was aware there were only 5 versions of the T190; orange, black, green, red and silver, so where did this come from. Also, do I take it that there is a metallic blue version of the facelifted version. Sorry if this stuff has been gone over already but I have not been on here in a long time [
