  1. Finally, the amazing RC arena of 1/16th 'toys' which have been extensively modified with CNC machining, aluminium milling, electrics. . .. basically, precision engineering on a level not too far off aerospace and automotive looking at the guts of them. Most if not all have completely new chassis under what appears to be fairly readily available plastic panel work.
  2. Some models in the glass cabinets just inside the main entrance submitted by many of the LCN members.
  3. Sean was the dubious one who had to sneak off now and again to check himself, Andy. Poor old Pullen was a big bunged up from that chinese. .. :ha ha!: :ha ha!: :ha ha!:
  4. Thanks for all the replies each of you, I could have spent three times as long on each layout to be honest and although most of exhibitors are fluent English speakers I do wish I could converse with them in their native languages to really find out the ins and outs of all the work that has gone on to get their displays to the show and the levels of detail involved. The John Deere combine is made and exhibited by 'Ziko' on here, there is a topic about it somewhere I am sure. A few more pics to come now.
  5. Few more to finish of with tomorrow all being well. Night all!
  6. Rounding off now with some snap shots of models for sale/display on a few of the stands. 900 Euros for the 8410 hand built by Andreas Zuchinni, the T however is one of two built and is most certainly not for sale. Whenever a child came within ten feet of his table he was on guard. .. A few people were halted from picking them up mid stretch too!!
  7. Thanks Chris, I'm no Layley Bailey mind but I do me best. You're so right, the detail runs along more than twenty foot and not much if any is forgotten. It was a phrase I coined over the weekend, Barry and it stuck. Suits it too. Next there will be stars in the floor there!! Yeah you must go again buddy.
  8. Some of HLT diorama demo's. Some models on the LMF display, very nice too.
  9. On to the Shuco display now, minute in scale but massive in detail, the kestrels especially nice.
  10. And on to another display.
  11. Sjonnies huge display, again I missed the chance to say hello!!
  12. I really like the modifications on this trailer, infact both the wagons looked superb.
  13. Some wet conditions this year spread down to the model world too on some of the layouts.
  14. On to Niels and Johnnys Massey themed display with some fantastic models made by Johnny and some personalised models from Niels' own contractor fleet. Oh and an outing for the in progress New Holland combine too!
  15. Same display as the previous post.
  16. More from the stunning displays.
