  1. Yep, very much so. I will be on Pepperami duty for the day.
  2. Welcome and good morning, Tom. Glad you found FTF, THE premier farm model collecting website. You will get the answers to pretty much all or any question regarding farm toys and models here. As well as the helpful, there are the friendly and the humoured too, from right across the world. Did you see the Model Farmer magazine at Spalding? It went from ezine to hardprint a few years ago and has taken off quicker than. Syrian airliner leaving Turkey! Excellent publication for our hobby. Britains rear wheels twist and pull off if you twist the wheels in opposing directions. Regards, Tris.
  3. Inside the pavilion it will be warm, dry, clear and staying bright all day.
  4. Really nice load of photos, Erik. You see some very impressive machinery over there, especially the root crop harvesters. That Joskin 'thingymajig' looks quite a beast too. Good job you guys don't have too many 10ft and 12ft gates!! Nice to see a Massey 300 series out playing with the big boys too
  5. That must be a great feeling to know other people value your work so highly, Lee. Fair play to you.
  6. I thought your question was fairly obvious to what you mean't mate. Mine could be my Britains FTF Gold Ford 6600. One of thirty and one of only three in a display case as originally supplied. I won it in a competition here on FTF as Forum Contributor of the Year One fetched over £700 on eBay and that was a Britains issue box. Even if it was only worth half that it would still be my most valuable. It's priceless to me either way though, the joy/value for me is owning the model(s), not the selling of them. Second is probably my Britains Livestock Transporter gift set with animals and pens. Got that one for a bargain via Niels in Holland to replace a long dispersed set I had as a kid, a holy grail that one was so to have found that truly was amazing
  7. Yep and now just leaving a South Wales Case IH dealer with a 4wd 290. Yes there are some right beauties on there, arn't there Joe. I'll just have to keep plodding in my trusty 420 4 series I guess..... At least she's a fast one!
  8. No, Joe. The cab is higher to reduce floor height inside, complete new interior and telematics system, emissions also changed which meant redesigning and rejigging a lot of mechanics etc between the chassis rails. Also, the R series is at maximum as regards cramming in all that is and will be required up to Tier 6 I believe so a new truck 'proper' cannot be far away....
  9. Not a lot, Bill, the lift axle is raised, maybe nothing at all. Gray and Adams are a trailer manufacturer. It has wishbone front suspension like a car now and a nice interior, Andy and much more space now that Volvo have done away with the sloped cab front. I do think the New Actros has the styling edge though. I'm yet to be as fortunate as Joe and get to ser one in the metal though.
  10. Quite a job with a bit of planning to get her out then. Well, my tacho is ticking, my walk round checks are done. I'm off to Wales with the fifth load of this years hay. 10-4!
  11. That's the plan, I think this one is slightly better than my current one.
  12. That isn't the new Scania but an 'artists impression' of what it could look like. I think he is a Japanese chap studying some sort of vehicle design. (Not forgetting the 4 Series was discontinued in 2005 with the launch of the R Series)
  13. MIB Britains white MB Trac with spud hopper. Not really sure why though as I already have one
  14. Barry's a tosspot like that, Dale. He always seems to happen upon things when the rest of us spend hours trawling the net and getting bugger all back for it! :D
  15. Not a bad idea! Well, Traci isn't around on Sunday and I don't want to sit behind a table all day so it looks like the models will still be there until the next Toytrac!
  16. I've been following this on the forums and it was released last month after a number of years testing. I'd seen the prototypes up and down the country quite a few times and all the talk was it being the new Volvo/Renault. Rumour has it the cab frame may well be underneath the new Magnum. No doubt Scania will top them all though, Iveco have gone for a facelift, DAF have done the same with a 25 year old cab, Merc and Volvo have brought new motors, MAN never really do anything inspiring..... So that leaves the top dog to trounce them all However, the grill design has been Scanias 'thing' since the 1 series so it almost has to stay. The Euro 6 is the cause of all the changes and it is the cooling itself which has demanded such changes, this may make some serious work for the designers.....
  17. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaye! Look at that! Top job, Paul. Very nice little scene coming to life here. :)
  18. Alsorts to be honest, Paul. Might just do that, Sue.... They'll all still be there next Toytrac otherwise!
  19. Keep saying I will, Paul. Just never seem to get round toing through the arduous process of listing it all on here or eBay though. Dads attic needs emptying and I don't want to fill mine up with a load of stuff I neither need it really want.
  20. 8560 is too big to be perfect mind, larger back end to the rest of the smaller TM's and therefore the MXM 120. I woul like an MXM140 and thought about going the same way and sweet talking PDC Not sure if it would out a bit clumbersome though? Interested to see where your project takes you though, either way.
  21. Wholeheartedly agree, David. The frequency of my purchases has well and truly dropped in recent years but the novelty and appreciation has grown for the same reasons you have pointed out. My Britains re-collection for the nostalgia and memories ans the machines I've used collection for the novelty and personal connection.
  22. It was from 1pm in the past I believe. I'm thinking now I should have booked me a trade table for a mass model exodus.
