  1. Maybe indeed Mandy, along with a calf creep... http://www.iae.co.uk/agricultural/portablecattlefeeding/calf_creeps.htm
  2. Nice model in this variant too. One thing though, looking at the other pics you posted I notice front axle suspension is still fitted. . . ?
  3. Good to see you back on here, I did pause for thought when I heard about the Super Puma which ditched in the sea recently. I take it you were not on it!
  4. I'd say Grays then, Will. It looks very close to the one I posted a pic of.
  5. Outstanding!!! It looks like it has always been there. Your work is very, very nice.
  6. What is it based on, Will? It isn't a million miles away from the Grays one I used to use...
  7. Come on Norscot, pull your finger out and get a model released for the show!!!
  8. That is a very good idea, I like your model a lot.
  9. That's the same as the one I could not find just now. My box is gold with pictures of construction workers on it and other toys in the range on the reverse. No 9917, I'd assume post '82....
  10. Although Britains could have modelled wider tyres for this, I'm glad you havn't put them flipping awful great moon buggy flotations on this like others have! Looks better for being in working clothes and the lights will make for some nice night time clamp work. Also like the paint wear on the implements in the background too.
  11. I paid £50 with postage included from a BIN of £55 + postage so I was happy to have had my offer accepted to be honest. There is a version in an older box I believe, there was one on eBay at the same time but looking just now I could not find it. There is a British Gas one on there, truck top pick up so no accessories, MI gold B for £59.99 BIN so I think what I paid was a fair price. When the camera battery is flashing green, I'll pop it up in my other topic, David.
  12. A nice tool, I have seen some people where I live in south west UK still use these cranes, Manu.
  13. Britains Police Land Rover in Road Series box, all mint and the bollards have not even been taken off their sprue, nor the winch rope from it's little plastic bag!! Another holy grail ticked off!
  14. What Erik said that Barry said!!! Martijn that really is an outstanding build, what have used to make it? Resin? Brass? Plastic?
  15. Nice work so far, Malcy. Always nice to see you converting models, you're very indepth with them and they ain't right 'till they're right.
  16. Well done Alex and PJ on the work front. Mark I take it that is internet too then is it or are you on cable for your internet? For me? Another eBay item turning up in the post and me being here on a Saturday to receive it!
  17. Would the Imber headlights fit the cast bonnet? I know it's only a minor detail but when looking at the front end, silver paint doesn't do the rest of your work justice....
  18. I think what you have done would be equivalent to restoring an old property, Sue. It is in keeping with what you had to work from and to and what you have done certainly does not look 'new' alas it has brought and old toy back. Others may have binned it for knowing less. The cottage, garden and boundary wall again look very nice too.
  19. Excellent, Thomas. I saw quite a few trucks like that when I was on the harvest run, pretty impressive build and for 1/64 you really do cram in the details!
  20. Marcus, Marcus, Marcus. Where have you been?!!! Britains may have their flaws and like Paul says it does centre around consistency and the appliation of decals, as well as (I would assume) more stringent guidelines re: safety of toys; however they do sport new steering (since the Internationals were released I think and with huge pressure from FTF and its members) and also a new linkage which is similar to the Siku arrangement of having a tab which the 'cross shaft' is lifted up and over to lock it into position.
  21. Almost looks like it could be an Imber!! Really smart and clever how you have kept the front tombstone to make the.most of the Imber accessories. Are the lights painted or have you managed to use the Imber clear plastic lenses in there too? I have never known what S L E means either actually, I know what it does and for all the hours I have spent in them I like the spec very much. Anybody know? I presume the E stands for Electric/al being the difference to the SL.
  22. That 'yellow' shelf is a peach Mr C. A whole host of lovelies all paraded together for any visitor to see but it's the handy work of your own which stands out the most and the most eyecatching of l is of course, those combines. To hell with books when you've got that collection to show off, John!
