  1. Well done, David. Party at yours?! Meeting Jethro was indeed a career highlight for ne yes Sean/Chris. Just gutted to have missed out on a cuppa and a good yarn with him though
  2. Ertlerik may well be the man to ask, he has a lot of knowledge when it comes to 1/16th and the American collecting scene..... He is also a great bloke too! Welcome aboard FTF, hope the elusive models appear in your collection soon enough. Can we see aome pics so far?
  3. Today I met Jethro! I collected a Massey 135, a Ford 7840 and a band saw from his place down near Okehampton. What a nice chap too, even the relentless 13hrs of rain and wind we have had today can dampen them spiriys Although I was a bit sad not to have time to take up his offer of a cuppa
  4. Al the way from Slovakia!! Nice to see the flowers under the greenery, Mike. Often forgotten at times of highly mechanised gear running amok all over it!
  5. Ah I see, make a nice pair them two.
  6. http://www.ebay.de/itm/1-32-Scania-R124-400-Kran-Neu-/160800816249?pt=Spielzeugautos&hash=item257079bc79
  7. Smart, did it come with the bucket set or did you already have them? Bsbplant by any chance?
  8. Was it priced better for buyer or seller so to speak? Masseys like that are commanding high prices nowadays in pre-restored condition let alone done as nicely as that! Lovely background too.
  9. Both very nice sets of machines and the weathering really helps to bring life to the models.
  10. Was just hearing the same thing last week, Tommy. the T7030 and T6090 at work do not receive half as well as the older TM's do. With all the interference they get you have to have the squelch turned right up.
  11. Binding! Though the F130 is not on my list I know there is a massive waiting list for such a tractor so well done ROS. I however, look forward to the 8770 which may well become and 88 for my collection Are there any prospective release dates, even if just a month as an estimate?
  12. Same one as on the Newray Scanie rigid and probably the one Joe is referring too I should think.
  13. Come on then Rich, group photo please! Of the models, by the way!
  14. German eBay, loads of Scanias on there with lorry cranes.
  15. Midland are pretty good for a new one, Tim. Although if you go second hand, Rotel are a good oldie to get. These people are super helpful: http://www.kcb.co.uk/
  16. This is all very interesting stuff and I have to say, not one single name in those Australian built machines I have heard of before so a school day for me today. The feeder house is very high on the 542 I notice and also the HB 2140 has a Gleaner look about it, did it have a lateral rotor like the Gleaner R series or was it inline or even straw walker?
  17. Ah I see, thank you for the answer
  18. I should take a break from the work for a minute or two, Rich and read what board this thread is in...... :ha ha!:
  19. That would make a smashing (if expensive) gift set for customers of theirs. ... .. All the models look really impressive and as usual with your work, extremely high quality finish.
  20. Ha!!! Ironic that the worlds biggest seeder is working in a field with bloody trees in it! :D :ha ha!: :ha ha!: :ha ha!:
  21. Lovely old 4255 working hard there. The 6920 has the wheels set quite wide by the looks of it, what other jobs does it do?
  22. Love it! Just one thing though, Malc. . .. I can't seem to see your card number or expiry date. . .. I'm guessing your pin is 1-770 though!
  23. That Ausplow airseeder is immense!! Talk about acre eater!! You'd need one those triple sets of disc ploughs to stay ahead of it. Is the Hardi a special build?
  24. I love that 6410 mate, I'd love a 2wd SQ Ford for a weekend toy.
