  1. i had a decent model farm built up ready to go but with moving house its not going to happen so just a table for me to sell stuff on and display some of my own custom models and scratch builds

  4. well ive done a tad more to the jd while ive got most things packed up ive added a loader joystick in the cab and proper steering collumn ive also added some doors and found a suitable implement for it what do you guys think ive got to buy some john deere yellow paint for the wheels and get the chassis, steps, engine and linkage all done john deere green

  6. you got that right mate, ive used loads of bubble wrap as quite a few of models dont have their own boxes as there scratch builds or custom models so theyre all wrapped up. im looking foward to it though as i can start a fresh and what i plan on doing is having a shelf that goes all the way around my room and building loads of permanent scenes on it instead of having loads of big boards.
  7. cheers mate, this has actually been put on hold as im moving house so i dont think it will be finished for toytrac which is a shame
  8. that looks fantastic you have a great skill, you should post pics of all your models in the my collection section of the forum, it would be good to see them all together i bet they look good in a scene
  9. definatly getting one of the 2wd drive versions as i drove one allot a few years back when i worked on the dairy at poplars farm stunning models

  11. cheers mate, ive wanted to do one for a while now but when i attempted my own jd loader it all went wrong so when i could use this i just decided to go for it
  12. wiking jd 7430 my 7430 ended up with a front linkage on rowcrops to go with my grimme potato harvester so i thought id make use of the loader for a decent sized loader tractor
  13. yes mate, off a schuco claas axos 320, i had the choice of the wheels off a claas axos 340 but they were tad to big and ive seen more deeres with this style wheel than any other cheers, im hoping to make it a brother in the near future with a front linkage and extras to go with my box drill in a drilling scene
  14. hi mate, cereal fields are pretty basic, its just front door matts cut to how you want them you can buy grass material from holly loves toys (mandy) on here, i would recomend you to visit her site as there are many things you could get for a farm display and will give you many ideas
  15. well here is the start of my john deere 5100R tractor with 633 loader done plenty to it but still a fair way to go
  16. cheers mate, it does seem a really great place to work and there is alot more variation in what im doing. i feel more at home here than the bigger units. all of the guys seem friendly and happy to help. theyve shown me how to do my rolls and just left me to it really, and as im a central sort of player i am there to do anything so if i am required on the contracting side then i will work that side, the same if any of the dairy lot want time off i will fill in for them.

  18. they have 2 rolland V2-160 spreaders 2 pichon tankers for injecting with various attachments 2 hispec tankers and loads of other kit
  19. hi as a few of you already know i managed to get myself a job on a dairy farm. the company is called thomas contractors. i work the dairy side but i have been told i will be working the on the contracting side when they get really busy my jobs are scraping out, liming & adding sawdust to all cubicle beds each morning, feeding and bedding up the calves ect.... i do loads of other jobs aswell but there done when they come along, i was out at the field yesterday with contractors while they were drilling as i had to take the loader and bring them bags of seed from a farm they were drilling for. here are a few pics of the equipment, they have: 4 x jd 7530's, case ih 225 cvx puma, jd 6410, jd 6400 2wd, jd 2140 2wd, county 1184, mf 35x, mf 590 2wd, claas jaguar 950 with grass, wholecrop and maize headers.
