  2. cheers Marky, i hate it too. it makes for an easy medium of lightening the load on people's minds however
  3. he's only 60, poor bloke, not even retired yet... went out tonight to work on a car, and grandma broke her hip while i was out my dad's gone to the hospital with her.
  4. paul i might have missed this, but the Pennine way runs next to my house, (in Liverpool) i thoroughly recommend avoiding that bit of it, I only feel safe if I've got Roxy (rottweiler x staffy) with me... failing that if you need a place to stay while walking that bit let me know...
  5. grandpa out of hospital after 4 months but on the flip side, my uncle has a blocked bile duct, (possibly cancerous)
  6. well they taste good, bit over cooked but the instruction " cook until golden brown" is rather difficult to follow when they were golden brown before they'd seen the oven.... no i didn't nick, no funds!
  7. keeping ok cheers Nick, yourself and Kim? Uni is ticking along, can't say I like it though...
  8. never had a problem with them, just their advert is rather ambiguous!
  9. Flipping Natwest advert. The line in the add is spoken as; "Nothing hidden; just the facts." Or is it "Nothing hidden. Just the facts." Are they hiding the facts or giving us the facts? By us, I mean me, loyal Natwest customer for 4 years. Grammar eh?
  10. £20 an hour mate haha! i didn't run aground or capsize either, impressive eh?
  11. thanks guys, yes robbo, orrest point! out for a jaunt on lake windermere... on route to a stone circle near Keswick afore mentioned missus...
  12. yeh i guess i did drive past your farm! nice part of the world to live i must say!
  13. windermere country side master of all i survey...i wish. kirkstone pass (roughly translated as, if you look at the stunning scenery, you will crash and have time to phone home on your way off the edge....mind the cyclist)
  14. 3 days in the lakes this weekend... girlfriends camera, so limited machinery content, sorry! lake windermere from 800foot above sea level...
  15. sorry to hear about your mother's spaniel Mike, and sorry to hear about Alfie Marky, keep spoiling him as for me, grandpa (after 2 grumpy weeks out of hospital) is back in hospital.
  16. bank manager told me to choose between spalding and my lads holiday to dublin the weekend after..... sorry guys!
