You could kinda see this was going to happen. All the colours.

Thanks lad. Wont be carpet farming tough.Bit too old for that crack. Its into the display cabinet with this yoke. Cheers man thanks.Loving it youll cut some grass with that beast
-
Cheers lad. Thanks. It looks brilliant Justin, keep up the good work

So now ive 2 mower combs on the go. Keep both JD & NH /Kuhn fans happy. Who needs a BIG M! Will the rake keep up the pace tough? Need a bigger rake now i think!
-
Pic from the front.Pto shaft added in.
-
More pictures. I was going to use the JD 6920 in the backround instead of the 7530. But the 6920 can stay carting the silage. Bit more power needed id say .
-
More pics. With the rear mower & harvester.
-
Fits well. Even tough i used JD branded paint. The colour is still a bit off. Must be the Siku paint on the tractor.
-
Im using a Siku JD 7530 to take this front mower along with the Britains JD 535 rear mower. I had to modify the front linkage on the tractor. I used a front linkage from my IMBER FORD 5640 trimed to fit & painted both linkage & Mower using JD paint from the spray can.
-
Pic 2. For the top of the mower i used spare bits from old Airfix & Revell model planes & stuff cut & trimed to shape for the hydraulic lift arms, pto , canopy 3pt linkage, etc.

Made this JD 131 front mower. My first implement conversion. I used a TIM TOYS DEUTZ front mower as my base..
-
Yeah, I used the fat wheeled 5610 to do my 8210. I used a Britains 7710 front grill that did need a bita trimming for it tough.Thankyou all for your replies, its a fantastic help. One other thing i have a knackard thin wheel and a fat wheeled Ford 5610 model, is the cab, bonnet and other parts interchangable??, also i am thinking about converting one into a Ford 7910, 8210 or TW15 i think the fat wheeled one would look the best what do you guys think??..

Went to a local festival were there was a few vintage classics on display. The usual MF TE20s,135,2#165,3#Dexta,2#Major,Pre force 2000,3000. 2#4000,4#5000,7000,2600,4600,6600,7600,Nufield 65,DB 990,996,1290,JD 4020 & a few more.

Ok lads. Got the spray can of JD paint & tryed it out. Its certainly better than the first method i was using. So i painted up the front mower & noticed the colour matched the Britains rear mower conditioner quite well, but was a tad bit darker than the Siku JD 7530 tractor that im going to be using to take the mower combo. But im quiet happy with it anyhow. So still a few finshing touches to do to both the front mower & the front linkage on the tractor. Will post pics very soon. Cheers guys.

Heck! They must be worth a fortune.
-
You might have to do a bit of trimming alright Steve ,but nothing major. You probably will have to paint the parts also ,cause if you have any useable parts on your models already ,you will have to paint them all along with the new parts from D Towse the same colour. Clean the old bits of grit & dust also before painting. If your going to do it ,your better off doing it right first day lad.

Yeah i sould have tought of getting a can of it from day 1. I only kind of started doing tractor conversions 6 months ago with my FORD 8210 & 8830 . But this JD mower is my first shot at doing an implement. Its going fine bar the colour mishap. You will learn as you go along i spose. Cheers for that lad.I have a can of it, it's 400 or 500ml (it's in the shed i'll check later) bought it a couple of months ago, it was meant to be £10.54 or £10.58 or something, but the dealer was a decent bloke and gave me it for £10, Happy days!
-
Yeah might do that . Not a bad idea!any tractor that you want. i just think makes it look more realistic mate
-
I will put up some pics next week if i can when i hope to have it finished.Do you have any pictures of the jd 131 mower
-
Yeah. Im getting the can of JD spray paint this weekend. Sould have done it first day!yes justin, can of jd spray mate
-
You have some very rare ones there. The Ford 7400.,8100 & 8200 i would love a look at.
-
Thats it lad. Next time im passing FARM DOWER in Cork ,im dropping in for a can of it. Cause i also what to put a front linkage from my Imber Ford 5640 on a Siku JD 7530 for a bita realisem. So ill be painting up that also to take this front mower. The front linkage that came with the Ford is a bit much for a tractor of that size,so ill put to better use on the JD. Cheers Barry . ThanksSurley you mean, is it DEERE?.....ha haha ha - i'll get my coat!
Last time i bought some it was about £9 for a 400ml can (I think) but it does last a long time.
If i want to apply it with a brush, i save jam jar lids, give them a wash, spray some out of the can into the jam jar lid and apply with a brush (spray the can outside otherwise you will get told off......i do!!)

Yeah it drives me crazy also when UH brings out a model is 1/16 or 1/43 but never follow on with a 1/32 version. Like the MF 175 & 65. We might never see them in 1/32. Who knows! The same with the FORD 7000 ,7600 & County 754.They have the Fords in 1/16 ,but again no 1/32. I know Britains have em in 1/32 ,but a UH 1/32 Ford would have been better detailed & would have had STEERING unlike the Britains. If you look at the Britains Ford 5000 its curved like a bannana were the bonnet meets the cab. I SO WANT A UH 1/32 70's or early 80's era Ford. But fairplay to UH with the MF 135,590,1200 & 3080. Same goes for the FORD 7810 & Pre Force 5000.Who is buying all these 1:16's??
A question more out of frustration, there is a glut of great models that would snap up if in 1:32
